TaskFlex – Pro Independent Contractor Agreement

This Pro Independent Contractor Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the service provider using the Platform to offer services (“Pro,” “you,” or “your”) and TaskFlex LLC (“TaskFlex,” “we,” or “us”).

1. Independent Contractor Status
You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, franchisee, agent, or representative of TaskFlex.

  • You are free to accept or decline any job request without penalty, although your choices may affect how often you appear in search results or recommendations.

  • You supply your own transportation, tools, equipment, and materials.

  • You are solely responsible for your own taxes, licenses, permits, and insurance, including workers’ compensation where required by law.

 

2. Use of the Platform
The Platform is a tool to help you connect with potential Customers. TaskFlex does not guarantee any minimum number of jobs, income, or earnings. Your success depends on your skills, ratings, availability, and market demand.

  1. Payments & Commission
    For each completed job:

  • TaskFlex collects payment from the Customer on your behalf;

  • TaskFlex deducts a platform commission (typically 10%–20%, as communicated in your Pro dashboard);

  • The remaining amount is made available for payout to you on the applicable payout schedule.

You are responsible for verifying payout information and promptly resolving any banking issues.


3. Professional Conduct
You agree to:

  • Provide services in a safe, lawful, and professional manner;

  • Arrive on time or notify the Customer and/or TaskFlex of delays;

  • Be honest about your skills, experience, and limitations;

  • Respect Customers’ property and privacy;

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior;

  • Not solicit off-platform work from Customers for the purpose of avoiding TaskFlex fees.


4. Liability & Indemnification
You are responsible for your own work and any damages resulting from your services or conduct. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskFlex, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your services or failure to perform services;

  • Your breach of this Agreement or the Terms of Service;

  • Your violation of any law or rights of a third party.


5. Termination
TaskFlex may suspend or permanently deactivate your account at its discretion for violations of policies, safety concerns, fraud, or other misconduct. You may stop using the Platform at any time, but remain responsible for jobs already accepted.

6. Acceptance
By creating a Pro account or using the Platform to accept jobs, you agree to this Pro Independent Contractor Agreement in addition to the TaskFlex Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
